we'll take sour sips from life's lush lips
coffee, tea, or me?

a night so cold it made the stars vibrate

february is the month of love and romance and the olympics and my sister's 15th birthday and chinese new year and red envelopes and quatchi toques and a blissful breeze.

be mine - be my valentine? i used to be extremely arbitrary about this holiday but i guess having an appreciative, romantic viewpoint this year makes it a bit different than every other depressing v-day i've had. it's a good excuse, we should put it to use! right?

"and love, i don't need those things, i don't need no ring. i don't need anything but you and me, because in your company...i feel oh so happy and complete."

the olympics are scouring the city. quatchi, miga and mukmuk are taking over!!! and i love it. i just bought an extremely overpriced quatchi toque and i LOVE it.

i can't believe my sister is turning 15. it feels like not too long ago i was anticipating my 15th birthday and i felt so damn old and grown up and smart and it turns out it may have been the stupidest year of my life hahah! but i believe in my sis, i hope my endless complaints and "life stories" have pointed you in the right direction (the complete opposite of what i've done) ♥

when chinese new year rolls around i will receive a grand total of $35 tops while vic among many other lucky sons/daughters/nephews/nieces will (apparently) be receiving stacks of money on the one day that chinese people decide to be generous...except me. yaaaaay.

went to granville island today with my mommy and it was wonderful. i bought classy classic rainboots which i've wanted forever (a week) and i love them and thats where i found my quatchi toque and a storekeeper took a picture of it and i was glowing and it was breezy and cold but the good kind of cold.

relaxxx everyone :) the worst of it is over.
