Just sold my iPod to a very nice university girl at City Hall station. Cruised down Cambie street and ended up at here. Ordered my vanilla soy latte + oat fudge bar (I love that blenz accepts SPC cards! Saved 70 cents, yes!) and plunked down in probably...the worst spot in the whole coffee shop, solely because the sun is up and dazzling and shining in it's great glory, and don't get me wrong, I am in love with the fact that Vancouver is being sprinkled in sunshine, but the glare has got to be the most distracting thing I've ever had to work with. I'm smack dab in the middle of it and I can barely see what I'm typing right now! But it's okay, because I love the buzz of success emitting from city people on a Friday afternoon, chit chatting away about life and stress and lack of it. I am basking myself in the different languages in the background of my boring CBC culture, the comments of "just how great it is to finally have sun back in Vancouver!" spoken to me periodically by people passing by my table. I can't wait to do this every day.
