"Making music is like love - the same bullshit comes up over and over and you're so frustrated you want to ask the world "Why the fuck are you doing this to me?"...everything is so hard and half way in you are ready to give up and walk away...but in the end, at the end of it all...you really can't live without it."Today was photo day, and I basically went to school thinking I wasn't going to take a picture but everyone convinced me to and I ended up with Adam as my photographer so at least I got to look at my cheesy photo and not be surprised about it when I see it on my go-card in two weeks! Went to V's house and mommy brought me my two dress shirts and a straightener and did my hair for me in the car while elementary school students all ran by us with strange looks...I love my mommy at moments like that, even when she is taking the opportunity of me not being able to move to lecture me :)
Hung out with favourite girl hannah today before we had work and got SO hyper off of our giant chevron slurpees! We went to nood (new objects of desire) for the first time and basically laughed hysterically at anything that was remotely out of the ordinary (everything there) especially those SUPER CUTE WHALE/DUCKY TOOTHBRUSH HOLDERS! Can't get enough of them...then we got last 10 minute OPA! fries to eat until work started but it was with Laura & Sereena so it was pretty chill even though I had like, 7 returns.
Laura drove me home. I'm pretty content with my life at this moment, I must say. Talking to Laura, who's 23 and has gone through all this high school drama made me realize that that's exactly what it is...high school drama, which always passes once you actually start to get welcomed into the cold arms of reality. So I'm going to stay away from all that and look into the future from a more positive perspective, as Carl Rogers would say, and live up to my FULL potential! :) Go humanistic approach!
