Another Heart Calls

Do you remember when we didn't care? They were just two kids who took the moment when it was there. Remembering when they stole the night, lie awake dreaming until the sun would wash the sky.
Now, as soon as they saw each other, he'd say,
"Didn't I...didn't I tell you?"
"As deep as I need you, you want to leave it all?" she responded.
"What can I do?" he asked.
"Say it's true, or everything that matters breaks in two." she sighed.
It was at that moment that he realized it and responded,
"It's true, I'll never ask for anyone but you."
A few days later, things begun to go blurry once again. He was there, she was frustrated.
"Talk to me, I'm throwing myself in front of you!" she exclaimed.
And he thought, this could be the last mistake that I would ever want to do. So they just stood, staring back at eachother's desperate, empty eyes. All I ever do is give, they both pondered, it's time you see my point of view.
"I know that you want to figure it out, and God knows I do too," she said.
"So what can I do? I'll never ask for anyone but you," he responded.
So it blew over, but yet again, things went out of focus. She couldn't take it anymore. She left.
"I'm sorry!" he cried.
"So what?" she screamed.
"You don't think I've said enough? I'm sorry!" he pleaded.
"I don't care! You were never there..." she cried. And so, and so she left.
Now, as soon as they see each other, she'd say...
"Didn't I...didn't I tell you?"
"As deep as I need you, you want to leave it all?" he responded.
"What can I do?" she asked.
