hello, blogger. i'm back! summer's been nothing less of a rollercoaster. i enrolled in summer school, i gave up my social life to study for it, i dropped it 5 weeks in, i regained my social life, i lost it again when we got a new manager at aero who actually loves me and basically hands out hours to me, i started saving up and now i'm $300 away from a MacBook, i got a temporary job as an Aritzia slave yet again at both the distribution center and the warehouse sale, nasty things were said about me, i said nasty things about other people...all in all a very MEAN GIRL scenario (forgive me for the reference, i just finished watching it again.)
but i've gotta say, this summer has been a pretty good balance of hectic, hell and happiness. two weeks left and here are some of the highlights of my summer:
AUG14: VANS WARPED TOUR
ok so maybe this is the only event that counts as an actual highlight. i went in angry, had a whole mix of pure bliss, and almost cried towards the end which ended in a slow, reclining fallback into calmness. basically, my parents were being usual spaztic selves in the morning (anger) and when i got there, my sister and i met so many awesome people ie. clare (she was australian!) unltd free water dude (so chill, and gave us free water for $5) mikaela (very cool girl) + her friend + super tall boyfriend then we met even moooore awesome people ie. dave from every ave, everyone from the maine (patrick is waaay adorable!), you me @ 6 kids who were BRITISH (i told one of them to say "i love christina" in their accent holy f), eli from the credentials merch stand and last but definately not least chris wallace of the white tie affair which i may add is my new obsession for probably the next couple months give or take. so we jumped around and destroyed our shoes and i looked like the biggest prep and met up with sho and his friend and bumped into a whole bunch of people and spent money on band tshirts and shitty overpriced food and got signatures from every band which are all pathetically pinned up and overlapping on my puny little daiso bulletin board and took super awesome picture with our beloved camera when all of the sudden the huge climax approached and we...lost our camera. boom. so it hit us like a boulder and we searched and searched and then irene met her dream dude john ocalligraphy from the maine so i chilled with eli and he was super nice and i was near tears and then chris wallace saw me and made me the temporarily obsessed little fangirl i am today by telling me his madonna-lack-of-camera story which made losing my camera a little bit more worthwhile but at the same time we missed the awesome 3OH!3 concert by a lot but in the end we danced to Don't Trust Me and had second rounds of celebrity hugs before leaving forever. we finally accepted the fate of our camera was probably in some scene girl's hands and she was probably having the time of her life deleting the shit out of our poppunk pix and replacing them with screamo pix of herself overflowing with eyeliner so we walked and relaxed (and walked a lot more) to mcdonalds and complained about life sucking but the warped tour rocking and ate some finally reasonably priced artery stuffing food with my leftover cash and that is the end of my extremely run on sentence! :)
so i actually have work in the morning and my brain is too fried from lifting boxes full of overpriced rockrepublics and paige denim and seven jeans to even think of any more highlights of my summer but basically the time i've had chillin' with everyone who matters in my life and who will matter for a vair long time has made it reasonably better than any other summer i've had yet. :) brief shout outs! patricia chu: i'm super proud of you, steven tu: for driving me to summer school every f'n morning, diana nguyen: one word - finally!, christina wong: for err'thaaang and never being able to get off the phone when our convo is only supposed to be like 5 seconds, geeko: making each day a little bit more bearable, andrew suh: for your car lol, irene luo: forcing me to go to the only highlight of my summer, patrick bedruz: playing the hand clap game with me many times consecutively and pointing out the meteors (i saw three!), damon: attempting to slice cheese, and this is getting a little offff the point of shout outs oh god i remember when we did those in like grade 7 i'd be so pissed when people didn't have me on their list hahaha oh geez anyways GOODNIGHT! :)
